Open Data dissemination

There are 4 ways to access the Sirene® database:

  1. Download the Sirene database free of charge

    2. Pre-created files are available for free download on data.gouv.fr. The available files, covering all of France, are the following:
    • The complete list of enterprises (all active and ceased enterprises with regard to the their current state in the registery)
    • The complete record of history variables of enterprises (for each enterprise, the whole set of values of certain history variables in the Sirene registry)  
    • The complete list of establishments (all active and closed establishments with regard to their current state in the registry)
    • The complete record of history variables of establishment (for each establishment, the whole set of values of certain history variables in the Sirene registry)
    • The complete record of establishments''s succession links

  2. Create a customised list of establishments free of charge

    3. You can obtain a list of establishment based on certain criteria that you select yourself (criteria of location, activity, legal form, workforce size classes, date of creation or date of the last update). Each list can include up to 200 000 establishments.

  3. Search for an enterprise

    4. Individual searches, based on name, surname, corporate names, Siren or Siret identifiers give the possibility to find an enterprise with all its establishments.

  4. API access

    5. An API based on Sirene database is available on INSEE API Catalogue.
